Am at work. Tomorrow is the full moon. In the past hour, my colleagues and I have each taken a call from a crazy person. That's four crazies in one hour.

Thus far, we have learned:

1- Barack Obama is going to get assassinated because he's a half-breed (not my words).

2- Jolene Riendeau was killed in a satanic ritual (she's a semi-famous child abductee around here).

3- The Mohawks and the Algonquins aren't the same kind of people, and we all need to be careful.

4- Hydro Quebec is illegally installing wiring in people's houses in order to spy on them.


*sigh*

An hour lost...

I am feeling the change in time, but not as keenly as my friends are, because my schedule is wacky anyway. This week I am "allowed" to get up after the sun is out, so it's not so bad. On days when I have to be up early, I'm up before the sun no matter what.

I am wearing a shirt that hasn't looked good on me since October, which pleases me. :D

All in all, in spite of being tired, I am in a good mood. Am going to the gym after work.

Oh, to the gang going to Hurley's on Wednesday: I will be there, but only starting at 18:30, as I'm working swing shift this week.

Back to work!

Wow. How did I miss that?

I appear to have missed the boat on what is being called RaceFail09.

Having now glanced at the ten gazillion posts on the matter, I am SO GLAD that I missed the boat.

I don't have the energy to get into that. I wouldn't have had the energy when it started, back in January. Egads.

I am well aware that the issues of racism and cultural appropriation and what have you need to be addressed and called out when the need arises. As it happens, many, many, MANY people are involved in the fray, and I don't see the need to add that much more to the verbiage.

For those of you who, like me, have no idea what this is about, rydra_wong has been collecting links under the tag gcadod 09. Be prepared, there are hundreds of links in there, going back all the way to January. Some of it is good, some of it is cringe-worthy and hair-tearingly awful. You have been warned.

That's all I'm going to say on the topic.
