Dear Self,

You are not allowed to browse for more patterns on Ravelry until you have finished your current project.

Show some restraint and self-respect, woman!

Love,

Me

I didn't even know you were on Ravelry (or if I did know, I must have forgotten)!

However, yes, definitely addictive.

Hence why I typically have four projects going at any given time. *facepalm*

I just signed up a couple of days ago. Is your username the same? Mine is. :)

Wow, that's quick. Definitely faster than when I signed up.

Found you. :) I'm novamoonlight actually.

Oh, no. I asked for my code about a week or ten days ago, but only used my code to sign up about two days ago. Sorry for the confusion.

Maybe the rules for knitters are different, but you're not considered a serious cross stitcher unless you have boxes and boxes of thread, fabric, and unfinished projects. :)

Oh, I know. I have to sit on myself, though, because I have serious hoarding tendencies (as in, if I don't watch myself, I'll be one of those people you read about on the news who were found dead under twenty tons of old newspapers in a home filled with junk —one reason I don't read the paper!), and never ever finish a project the minute I lay it aside for a new one.

So I have a strict rule: I start a project, I finish it, and only then am I allowed to look at shiny new projects.

That's why ravelry has a queue.... ;)

You can look but maybe not touch cast on....

I have a trunk full of scrap yarn that I keep thinking I should do something with, but then I go to the yarn store and find the perfect yarn to go with the project I just found on Ravelry.

*gasp*

What's your handle on Ravelry! I totally want to snoop and see what you're working on! Mine is, of course, irishyogini...
