Spring is here (sort of)

Spring is around the corner, and I just realized that I have no shoes. I got new boots before winter, and put aside all notions of buying shoes because, well, who needs shoes when there's three feet of snow out there?

However, now that the snow is melting, I shall require shoes by the time April comes around, and that's in a little over two weeks. My old shoes are, shall we say, dead. After three years of walking around and being patched to within an inch of their lives, they are no longer salvageable.

A-ah. You and me both. Most of my Summer shoes were retired during my move from California. I desperately need new Birkenstocks at the very least.

Amen to that, sister. I just got my windshield wiper motor replaced and although *I* have summer shoes, I need to get new ones for my son, who keeps growing out of everything, even though I keep telling him to STOP IT. :-)

And who's got time to go shopping, anyway?
