I have no milk. No milk means no tea. I shall be back presently.

...

Five minutes later

The good thing about having a dépanneur one quarter of a block away is that I can always go get overpriced milk if I'm really desperate.

I am going to make bacon and eggs this morning. I still have both left over from last week. I am also going to have tea. I've been eating the homemade blueberry jam that [livejournal.com profile] silly_imp gave to me at my housewarming. It is exceedingly yummy. Made, as I recall, by P-who-has-no-LiveJournal.

I brought all my tea paraphernalia to the new job. I bought myself some special organic-type sugar as a treat, and have informed everyone there that they are welcome to partake of the tea should they so desire, but so far only our accountant has done so. I don't think she has an LJ, but I believe she's one or two steps removed, LJ-wise, from me. I'm a friend of people who are friends of [livejournal.com profile] the_adzo in whose basement she lives. I think I got the LJ name right. Not sure.

So, yes. Once again, an entire post about tea. I'm amazed people aren't leaving my flist in droves. :)

But tea = good!

I may even make some now.... I need a proper kettle. *puts that on to-do list for today*

I need a new kettle, too. Turns out mine has *rusted* on the inside. Stupid piece of teflon junk. I'm going to get myself an electric one and free up the space on my stove.

Right now I just boil water in a pot on the stove. I am going to be here for a while, though, so I figure I can get over my fear of accumulating Stuff.

A tea kettle is NOT "Stuff." A tea kettle is a vital part of the kitchen arsenal. Life-sustaining, that's what it is. You should get a kettle with no fear whatsoever. :)

I'm sold! I have to go and do errands today anyway.

I love the Cthulhu mop... I got a friend of mine absolutely hooked on Two Lumps when i was getting my stuff moved. She is a cat person. She has a dumb fat one and an aloof skinny one and it just works out so well... :)

Most people with multiple cats end up with a dumb fat one and an aloof skinny one. It's like a Rule or something. :)

You're going to have to try harder to make me flee your flist. I collect teapots.
