Please stop the world, I'd like to get off the ride...

My only reaction to things these days is to want to snap at people. Unreasonably.

(I'm taking a few minutes to whinge now, but I'll try to keep it short. I hate it when I go into self-pity overdrive.)

So, yes. I would like the sucking to stop now. My life is the same as it was three months ago. My mood just isn't matching it anymore. It's like trying to swim in a lake of chewed bubblegum. Nothing has changed, but everything's harder, and has been since about a week before the Random Colour/Invisible concert.

So, six weeks of depression, three of which were particularly bad. Really, it can stop anytime now, and I won't complain, I swear.

Also, now that it's the construction holiday, I seem to be feeling more keenly the fact that I'm not getting the summer vacation I had planned for early this winter. Two weeks in the Maritimes, of which one would be spent entirely by myself in a park somewhere on PEI.

In fact, at this juncture, it looks like I won't be getting any vacation whatsoever for at least another nine months. That'll make it over two years without vacation. At the very least.

I want out.

Brunch-type stuff

Yes, I'm still not going to be at brunch. Expect me back sometime in August.

However, the point of this is to remind people that miseri has graciously taken over brunch duties for me in the interim. However, instead of posting announcements in his own LJ, he's decided to make said announcements in tgi, which is a community I started way back in the day for Montreal friends (and friends who used to live in Montreal at the time and who have since moved away), but which never really got off the ground.

So keep your eyes on tgi for all your brunch news, for the time being.
