Surprisingly enough.
I ended up staying at my mother's apartment because she wanted me to drive her places today (which I did and everyone is now happy), because we had to get up at eight in order to go places at nine, and I knew that if I went home I would never get up on time.
I got a parking ticket for my pains, which was annoying.
On the plus side, I did get up in time to be productive. We got all of my mother's shopping done, and I filled out the insurance forms for my company's invalidity plan (I don't even know if that's English but I don't care) which I have to drop off at my doctor's office later today.
Naturally, my company wants the papers filled out and delivered a minimum of ten days after my first day of absence, which technically was last Friday. Sadly, they only mailed the papers to me this Wednesday, which means I received them today, which in turn means my doctor will at the very earliest have them for me on Monday, ten days after my first day of absence. *sigh*
On a more cheerful note,
karine has drawn a picture of our FVLMINATA characters, which you can see here as long as you're not squeamish about bare breasts. My character is the whore on the left. Karine did quite a good rendition of the three characters, although privately (ha!) I think that Safiya (my character) is ever so slightly prettier. However, she got the vacant expression down pat: Safiya is about as bright as the proverbial pile of bricks.
I'm seeing
firewillow for lunch, provided I can get ahold of her to confirm, and then joining
blackbuffet (who incidentally has finally stated updating his LJ again, w00t!) at the bank so that ConJuration VIII can actually take place this year. As I suspected, the McGill Gamers' Guild would really fall apart this year if it weren't for him.
Busy busy busy.
