I always seem to base my polls on whatever's going on with me. Ever notice that? Anyway, since I was feeling kind of meh last night, this poll occurred to me.

[Poll #1305633]

Many thanks to [livejournal.com profile] tx_cronopio for inspiring me to resurrect the ticky. :)

I tend to get sick once, but never very badly - I'll be consistently ill throughout the winter with a cold and varying levels of runny nose, etc. its never (or rarely) enough to incapacitate me unless it takes a strong hold in my lungs. It's kind of like a personal inoculation, or something :p

Just take the migraines out, and I'm relatively healthy...

So the Ticky is for people who don't know what to answer, but who want to tick something anyway (so they don't feel left out)?

The ticky is also for the sheer joy of the ticky! :D

TIcky! and Meh!

"Meh" has now been accepted into a major dictionary, but it will be a while before we get to use it in Scrabble.

Ticky! I clicked the ticky and the box I know you put in for meeeee (sick alla time, predisposing condition).

Hey. How's your hair? Shaved? Back? Whatever happened there? I wanted to mail you money and did not. :( I haven't mailed anyone anything, including the guitar to my nephew in Iraq. :(

I have a couple of friends with predisposing conditions, but you were among the ones in my mind when I put in that option, yes. :)

Hair is growing back. It's about an inch long now. Maybe a wee bit less. It tends to stay the way I slept on it, which is pretty funny. :D

So hey, if it is that short, can you / will you dye it green and red for the holiday?

I meant to dye a blue streak in my hair for Halloween but ran out of time. Now, I'm vaguely thinking about something in blue or red for Solstice. I'm such a sissy... I probably won't.

Sadly, the dress/appearance code at work won't allow it. The RCMP has a certain image to uphold. :)

They'd let you sit there bald but they won't let you dye your hair Mountie-tunic crimson?

THEY ARE NO FUN! Except, of course, in your icon.

Hee! I shaved my hair for a good cause. The hair dyeing would be purely frivolous.

What if you dye it in a maple leaf pattern?

I once dyed a strand indigo and told people I talked a blue streak.

Everyone believed me.

I tend to fight the office flu all winter, then get hammered by it for a couple of days in late winter or early spring.

When I feel it coming on, I buy a box of clementines and go crazy on them. Works nearly every time.

I used to be healthy as a horse - got sick once every few years. But, as I get older I've been getting sick at least once a year. However, I don't "...get get the cold/flu that's being handed around the office." 'cause I work from home. So, I ticked ticky.
