I just had to filter out zombie_survival, which has suffered from a massive influx of n00bs due to LJ putting the community in the spotlight. I toughed it out a few days, but they're posting like 15 times a day now, all with the same lame ideas (Lookit all my guns! Lookit all my kewl but ultimately useless bladed weapons! I'm going to head to WalMart 'cause that's what they do in the movies! Lookit my zombie costume!) and riddled with spelling mistakes.

So, out of the default view it goes. I'll check back in a month or so.

Sadly I joined the comm when I saw fearsclave post about it and frankly I'm considering backing out again. I figured it would be interesting...but I guess I'm not seeing it (likely because of the very newbs you are mentioning)

Oh god it's awful. Guys posting their Wall O' Movie Props and calling that being prepared. Aussie anti trolls. Endless people whose best plan for an emergency is to go to Wal-Mart. Excrima sticks. Plastic sheeting. Wriring the doorframe so that it becomes a giant electromagnet.

Some of the regulars have some pretty cool guns, though ;).
