Just when I thought I had put to rest my total and unreasonable lust for this property next to fearsclave's, some friends of mine have pointed out that the price has gone down by about $20K, and they're interested in buying it.

I still can't afford it, even at the new price tag. I might be able to afford it in two years, but right now it's out of the question.

So I am unreasonably jealous now.

I saw the property again this weekend. Turns out the house has a basement. And no foundation. Well, it may as well not have one. The place is a nightmare, and is likely cannot be salvaged. I'm thinking I actually dodged a bullet there, no matter how beautiful the rest of the property is.
