Wow, I'm a broken record
Mar. 3rd, 2007 09:50 pmI was going to use the title "Not dead, just tired," but the auto-fill on my LJ form informed me that I'd already used it. Egads.
Worked a double shift Wednesday to Thursday. Am very tired, accordingly. Had a lovely morning with
curtana yesterday, although I was a little out of it, having worked 16 hours the day before and been awake for 24 hours straight.
I'd also like to take this opportunity to thank the lovely fairies who cleared all the snow from my front steps and balcony. Coming home at 11pm yesterday, it was a terrific and very pleasant surprise. Thank you so very much. :)
In only slightly-related news, my recycling box is buried in a snowbank. I fear I shall never see it again.
Had dinner with the parental units to celebrate my mother's non-birthday at a nice Thai restaurant. My ever-active conscience spent most of the evening whispering that much of my food had traveled thousands of miles to get to my plate. Stupid conscience. Can't even have Thai food without feeling guilty now.
Okay. Going to go crash now. More later.

Sometimes you just have to flick the damn cricket off your shoulder and enjoy your food. I will be glad though when we can eat more local food.
