Things are looking up

So I haven't found my gloves, but I now have a handle on my door again, and the computer seems fine. *knocks on wood* I have backed up some of my more important writing to private entries in secret_history until I can get my hands on a USB key to get it all backed up.

In the midst of the broken-lock saga yesterday, my GP's office called to let me know all my tests came back normal. So, back to the drawing board. I suppose it's good news.
