Can't talk. Too tired.

Yeah. Have officially graduated to "so tired I can barely speak."
We had five thefts while I was on shift. Five thefts, all five Boomerangs answered when called (if the Boomerang doesn't answer, we can't track it, so it gets put into an automatic dialer which calls it every ten or fifteen minutes in the hopes that it'll answer).
We recovered four of the cars, and two incidentals (those being other stolen cars that aren't Boomerang clients which we find usually when we track stolen vehicles to a "cache"), and the fifth track was ongoing when I left for home.
When I got there we were four people. Then we dropped to three as one guy finished his shift. We went absolutely batshit crazy trying to follow all the stolen cars (with only two trackers on the road to begin with: we had to call in the backup trackers), and to deal with all the alarms that were still coming in (250 and rising at last count).
Then our interactive software crashed. It came back up, and the phone system got b0rked. Did I mention the security cameras are offline for some mysterious reason? The phone system was partially fixed when I left. I hope it's totally fixed for the poor night crew, who have enough shit to deal with without having phone problems to boot.
In other words, the day was insane. Is it the full moon or something? Gah. On the other hand, it was a hell of a rush. Haven't had this much fun in a while.
I'm going to bed now. Holy cow.

Stick it up somewhere at work if you can. It would be fun to track the number of thefts vs. the full moon, maybe someone will even be organised enough to put an extra body on shift or at least put the backup trackers on standby.
