Cleaning Update # 657,933

mousmeThe cleaning proceeds apace. I have washed half the floor, and am allowing myself a small break while it (and I) dries off. Half the floor left, but it's the grimier half, I am sad to say, so it will likely take me even longer to do. *sigh*
At least now it feels like progress. I got rid of seven (7) bags of garbage yesterday (well, garbage and clutter and other stuff) and it didn't feel as though I'd even made a dent. There will be more garbage bags today, and the plan is to reclaim all of my counter space in the kitchen. Somehow over the past year Stuff has made its way onto my counters until I have no more counter space, whereas I should have about three times as much space here as in my old place.
I am one person. How the HELL did I ever accumulate this much STUFF? GRAH!
I am being ruthless, d'you hear? RUTHLESS! It all goes OUT! (Damned spot)
Checking email one last time, and then I'm heading back out. If you don't hear from me by tomorrow night, feel free to call in the ground troops for Search and Rescue. ;)
I really need a housecleaning-type icon.
