Quickie before bed

I decided that enough was enough. Firefox has been a slow-moving cow ever since I installed it, no matter what I did. It also refused to send email from my Yahoo account. Despite everyone bitching about IE and saying how great Firefox is, IE was always quick for me and did what I wanted it to do.

Firefox as a result has gone the way of the dodo ("Melons!") on my computer, and I've resorted to using Safari, since Microstupid doesn't support IE for Macs anymore.

Safari used to be annoying, but seems to have cleaned up its act considerably since I last checked. It's happy and spry and quick, and it lets me send email from my Yahoo account. Safari wins at the internet today.

Have you tried Opera? I had it on my old machine and it wasn't too bad except for the fact that I had sponsored mode (ie, ads) because I didn't have a credit card at the time I d/loaded it. Things might've changed since then, so if Safari cracks one at you maybe you could give it a go :)

Yeah, safari has improved muchly. Its now one of the most standards compliant browsers out there. Better than firefox (at least on that score) for sure.
