Where did the warm weather go?

Seems to me it was warm a few days ago.

Went to a movie with luvenditti, where I discovered that I lost my bank card, and thus have no money until I can get it replaced. I then spontaneously developed a sore throat in the middle of the movie, and am now having a great deal of difficulty swallowing. My life rocks.

One thing needs to be said: Antonio Banderas can be my dance partner anyday at all. Rrowrr, can that man move!

And, seriously, I am talking about the dancing and nothing else. Dancing with a bad partner is not very much fun, but there's nothing that compares to being swished around a dance floor by someone who knows what they're doing. There's dancing, and there's dancing, is all I'm going to say.

I'm going to have to take time off work tomorrow to go to my bank (ah, irony) and replace my card. I hope this stupid sore throat is gone by then. At least I still have the Nyquil that toughlovemuse thoughtfully provided a few months ago. The last thing I need is to be sick during fearsclave's wedding.

I saw ads for that Antonio Banderas movie, and the ads cracked me up. The tag line was "Always lead. Never follow." And if that's advice to everyone, then there's gonna be some clumsy dancing. Two people trying to lead: not good.

If it's the same sore throat I woke up with on Sunday morning (which is not unlikely); mine lasted two-and-a-half-days, and then went away. The head-cold that came with it lasted a day or two longer - it's on it's last legs now.
