So I responded to a post in curtana's LJ which said that I could request a drabble (100 words of fiction or thereabouts or fanfiction) and she would write it for me.

So I pounced, because I've been in Perseity withdrawal for something like two years now. :P

Then I noticed it's reciprocal. So, here I am reposting it and making a liar out of myself, since I swore I'd go to bed. Yes, I lie. I lie like a cheap rug. I will be a very tired cheap rug tomorrow, and thus lie even more.

Okay, meme:

The first ten requests for short fiction (I've never really written fanfiction per se, except for once about five years ago, but I'm sure I can come up with something as long as I know the fandom) will be honoured and posted up at secret_history, so as not to bore non-fiction readers with my scribblings.

If you request a drabble, it would be SUPER AWESOME if you were to repost this in your own LJ and produce writing of your own. It's not obligatory, of course.

True. I keep forgetting that it actually ended in 2005, just because I associate 2004 with Perseity. It was The Year Of Perseity, or something. ;)

Damn, I miss that campaign.

One of these days, when you're not going insane looking for work and permanent lodging and child-rearing, it would be awesome to run a second-generation Perseity game. All the kids of the previous characters or something. :)

Actually, I think we have a couple of fandoms in common. House, MD for one. What other fandoms are you part of? I seem to recall Harry Potter, also a fandom of mine, and what else?

I shall see what I can do about LoTR. It's not a fandom in which I've ever felt comfortable writing (or even inventing stories in my head, which is what my fanfiction mostly consists of ;) ), but I'm reasonably certain I can come up with 100 words for you. :)

Oh, cool. I just read your interests and Tolkien was about the only thing there that I'd even heard about. :-) If you want, you can change my request to House, MD. That should be interesting as well.

HP is the only fandom where I'm actually part of the fandom, as in actively writing and reading fanfic etc. I also like the X-Men movies a lot (to the point of planning to dress up as one of the characters for the premiere of movie 3...) and many different comic books. Oh, and Star Wars, my first-ever fandom.
