mousmeMy head still hurts, dammit. Have taken Tylenol, but don't want to take too much for fear of a rebound-headache, which would suck.
Lunch with the Paternal Unit went well. Turns out he thought I was suicidal, which I hastened to assure him is not the case (although I'm not sure he believed me). Funny, it never occurred to him that I might be suicidal when I was suicidal...
Anyway, long live nepotism: he's got me a translation contract which'll probably net me around $500, which is good. I might even get another one later, which is good.
Left my CV with another few people. Hopefully something long-term will crop up.
In other news, Smudge emerged from under the futon last night, and spent a while on the windowsill. When I got up this morning he'd taken refuge in my closet behind a box, and now he's under my bed, looking baleful and disgruntled. He *is* eating, though, and I gave him water so he won't dehydrate.
God, I'm tired.
