I really wish I had some sort of software to make animated .gifs. Any .gifs, really, but especially animated ones.

I've had this burning desire to make a new icon featuring a roll of duct tape. The first panel would read something like : “Duct Tape is like the Force.” Then the next would be: “It has a light side...” The third would be: “and a dark side.” And the fourth would read: “And it holds the Universe together.”

The very last panel would say: “May the Force be with you.”

Why yes, I am a total geek. Why do you ask?

Anyone know of some good Mac software that I can get online for this sort of project?

I don't have a mac so I can't download and test these, but I believe you'll find what you need easily enough.

PCs hate me. They never work the way I want them to. They generate errors and eat my texts and then generate more errors. Then they crash randomly, just to keep me on my toes.

I never do anything fancy with computers, so Macs are my friends.

I don't suppose you know of a nice (free, since I don't have a credit card) picture editing program that will let me fiddle with .gifs? My current one won't even let me open files like that. It's very sad.

Boo-urns. Oh well, it was worth a shot. Stupid program. It only runs in Portuguese, and it refuses to read .gifs. Bah.
