There's just no pleasing me

I'm hoping that the rain will make the temperatures go down accordingly.

However, it would happen on a day when A) I don't have an umbrella and B) I'm wearing a white t-shirt.

Also, there was a fire alarm. Evacuating hundreds of people from twenty-four floors into a stairwell that can accommodate two people abreast, or possibly three if people squish, is not as efficient as it sounds. The building is modern enough to be up to code, I guess, but I'm thinking that if the place really had been on fire, I would have been burnt to a crisp just waiting to be able to get into the stairwell, let alone walking down eleven flights of stairs at a pace that could have been easily matched by a quadriplegic snail.

Of course, I'm now really behind on all my work.

Currently 17oC in Montreal, according to CBC radio. My thermometer more-or-less agrees with this.
