If this frikking headache would go away.

No, seriously.

I can't decide whether it's the same headache that's just been coming and going for the past seven days, or if it's been twenty-one separate headaches. I'm leaning towards the one headache coming and going at varying degrees of intensity.

It's gone all the way up to migraine status on at least three out of the past seven days (complete with flashing, strobing lights, and the ever-so-fun throbbing in the temples, and the nifty feeling like someone just jabbed a one-foot white-hot needle in my right eye), which has sucked massively, but not enough to not let me function, which has been sort of a blessing but sort of not.

But, you know, I distinctly remember it being around last Tuesday, and I'm beginning to wonder if it wasn't present before then, and I'm starting to get a wee bit fed up with it now.

Also, I'm running out of Tylenol (no, I'm not taking the maximum prescribed dosage, because I know that there's such a thing as "backlash" which is headaches caused by withdrawal from acetamenophen), and I can't afford to buy more for at least a few days. Right now it and the seroquel are the only two things allowing me any sleep at all.

Bah.

Okay, end whining. You may now return to your regularly scheduled journaling. I'm going to bed. Early day tomorrow.

I'll offer you the same courtesy, [livejournal.com profile] mousme. After the migraine I had on Monday, I just can't bear to think of anyone enduring that sort of pain for days on end!

I'm really serious about my offer. Let me know ... neosperanza@yahoo.com.

Aww, thanks. :)

It's receded back to "tension headache" status now, anyway, and I still have a few painkillers left until I can replenish my stock. I checked, and I'm pretty sure I have enough to last me out until I can cash my check.

But you're a darling for offering. :)

Thanks, sweetness. :)

I'm okay until tomorrow (that's when I'll be getting a bit more money to tide me over until next week, when I get that job, which will mean more money, yee!).

You're a lovely, darling sweetie for offering. :)

Actually, an obsessive-compulsive clinically diagnosed as a stalker ... but same effect.

I've been stalked before. So far, this is not it. ^_^

The guy who stalked me found out my class schedule at university, followed me around in the libraries and the student union building, bothered my friends, and generally made my life extremely frightening and unpleasant for almost two semesters. I count myself lucky he never managed to find my phone number or my address (he obviously wasn't all that bright or resourceful a stalker).

So yeah. This? Not stalking. Not even close. ^_^

*offers VERY gentle hugs*

When you do have some money, try lavender oil on a handkerchief to sniff? It's quite good at easing tension-related headaches, which migraines tend to be.

when I went to the doctor monday for similar symptoms (not saying the same, but headache carrying on and triggering migraine) he looked through my eye and said my brain wasn't swollen, may be worth getting that checked, and if not tension headaches may well be what it is, there are 2 points at the back of your neck that you can put pressure on to help relax the muscles (for some reason i can't spell that word right now) and that may help. They're just at the back of your skull and are likely to hurt a lot if you push on them (they're acupressure points)
