Just a quick note...
May. 16th, 2004 12:44 am... to say that
ladytabitha is as cool in person as she sounds in her LJ, which is pretty darned cool indeed, in case you had any doubts.
We met up, had a coffee and a fun chat about cats and the ins and outs of running a shelter and how people who abuse animals/take their pets for granted suck on a fundamental level, and generally got on pretty well, I think. :)
I'd say more, but I'm going to bed now.
Oh, and is evil. It has hidden secretses, it does, and I've only found one of them, and only because I was told partially what it was. *sigh*
Maybe one of my nice internet friendses will tell me the secretses of the website. *bats eyelashes seductively at internet friendses* Nice friendses... we'll be loyal to them forever and ever, won't we preciousss? Yesss, we will...
Ahem.
Moving right along...
I have to go to bed, or else I'll poke fruitlessly at that website all night, and then I'll be tired and cranky tomorrow, and that won't help anyone.
In related news, I finally got my mother to watch Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone tonight. Of course, it was on an American station, so it was actually Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, because someone somewhere got it into their heads that Americans are too stupid to understand what a Philosopher's Stone is and would be put off by a title like that. *rolls eyes* Whatever. What do I know about American marketing strategies?
My mother really enjoyed the movie though, in spite of it being constantly interrupted by commercials. I would never have got her to consent to renting it, so now that I have her hooked on the Harry Potter crack, maybe we'll be able to rent CoS. *evil cackle*
Hmm... this was meant to be a short post.
Right. Bed.
