It's minus frikking 48 degrees!

That's factoring in the windchill. Without the windchill it's somewhere around -28 degrees. Yes, okay. I like it when it's cold. But this is getting a wee bit out of hand. It's warmer in Minsk!

For my American buddies, that's -18 Fahrenheit according to my conversion chart, and -54 with windchill factored in.

I'm cold now.

Even with the heating turned up (which is not making one iota of difference, I might add).

If I put on another sweater I won't be able to move.

Holy shit, that's cold! I don't think I've been in weather colder than 20 degrees F before.

(As a side note, it is currently 79 degrees F here in Los Angeles. Tank top and shorts weather.)

Yes, we are, as far as I know. I realised this morning (ten minutes ago) that I hadn't replied, and now my email won't work! Stupid Sympatico server keeps "rejecting" my password.

Really, the windchill is the killer. Even had it been -48, but windless, I don't think I'd be as cold. Or gotten frostbitten. At least, that's what I think it is... I got lightly frostbitten on my ear... it felt weird and swollen for a while. Now it's just a little sensitive.
