Yes, my friends, the Lilo & Stitch theme that we have all come to know and love is slowly but surely being replaced by something new. I'm not sure what it is yet, except that it'll be mostly black and white, and it'll be a lot simpler for me to keep track of. ;)

No, seriously. My last look took me forever to build and keep up, and I pestered poor [livejournal.com profile] firewillow for months asking her how to do stuff and driving her to distraction. This time I hope to keep the friends-pestering to a minimum. *waves to [livejournal.com profile] briarwolf* Thanks for the help with the overrides, sweetie!

I'll probably be taking down the L&S icons either tonight or tomorrow, depending on how much time I have.

Some of you who have been with me from the start might recognise the candle, although I took the image and actually re-made the icon because the first one was not too fabulous-looking. :)

Yes, this is all part of the Phnee-is-obsessing-about-her-life thing. Don't worry, it's not that serious. Hey, if the worst outcome is that I revamp the look of my LJ, it can't be that bad, right? ^_-

I rather like the new image on my page. It took a lot of fiddling, but I think it looks decent enough.

Ooohh.. Pretty!

If you want to make the entry area a little wider so there isn't as much space between her and the boxes, you can just alter the figures in the table override for that.

I love that background, and the icon is lovely. Feel free to "pester" anytime darlin'. I don't mind in the least. :D

AH! *flees out the door before she's late for work*

Fantastic! Which figures do I alter for that? Yes, I know, I'm hopeless. ;)

Oops! I was at work...

Glancing through the comments, I'm guessing you talked to [livejournal.com profile] firewillow though, and got it straightened out. If not, let me know and I'll tell you where you need to change things.

I like it, but can you make the text box thingiwhatsit a little wider? It looks like you've got plenty of room to mess around with there and...

I'm working on it. I'm not exactly an html whiz, here. :)

I know hon... This is why I don't try to do anything interesting with my own LJ - I suck worse than a Hoover at HTML. I mean, I use FrontPage for pity's sake! :P

You suck? Hmmm... ;)

FrontPage?!? SACRILEGE! Go here: http://www.davesite.com/webstation/html/index.shtml. It looks snazzier than it used to, way back when I first used it to learn HTML, but looked intact.

I agree with Dan. I do like it too but the text box could be wider. (especially since I'm on a laaaarge resolution, there's a lot of empty space on the side...)

If I knew how, I would. o_O

Seriously, folks, I'm workin' on it. Give the html-disabled people a chance, wouldja? ;)

Or you could always try putting it in percentage instead of fixed pixels too.

It's probably at 600 pixels now... See if you find that when you look at the overrides or the code itself and then try something like 60% or more or less depending on how you want it. That'll keep it "full" in any resolution screen.

Yeah, I think is in percentage right now. Am attempting to fix. Was at Parental Units' for dinner, which is why nothing got done since last posting. :)

You on Y!M at all? :)

seems very metaphorical, casting off of the old persona going for a simpler, yet more striking new one.

I like and am interested to see where you go from here.

like the candle too, makes me think "burning brightly ever more" though obviously for a candle that is rather contradictory.

I seem to be rambling somewhat, please forgive me :)

Would you accept any icons, or prefer a theme in particular?

Am confined to house, and in icon making mood. ;)

Icons are all good, as long as they're simple. Won't guarantee that I'lll use them, but they'll definitely get saved and put aside for a rainy day if they're not used. :)
