Oh, look, another meme...
Sep. 7th, 2003 05:48 pmGacked from
sadillac because I, too, am an attention whore.
Four questions, answer in comments please.
1-How did you first find my journal?
2-Why did you originally decide to "friend" me?
3-What's your favorite part of my journal?
4-Have you ever met me in person?
I need to buy more cocoa powder. Am attempting to reconcile myself with ricotta cheese by mixing it with unsweetened cocoa powder, but I didn't have much cocoa powder and I am not yet convinced. The snack wasn't all that good. Maybe semi-sweetened powder would be better. Less healthy, but tastier.
Ooh! I managed to salvage my "I" key! Go me! It makes typing so much easier. I hadn't realised how much I use it until it was gone. :P
I think I'll take a nap. I have to go to a party (*sigh*) at 7:30, and after that I'll be seeing Miranda for Six Feet Under. Yay! Don't want to go to said party, but I have to because it's an old family friend visiting from Mexico who's around only for a week or so. Nap time it is.

Date: 2003-09-07 02:44 pm (UTC)2. Your layout was all about books, and I thought that was way cool. And, plus, you could spell, and seemed v. intelligent. All pluses.
3. I just love your journal overall! You're definitely one of my keepers on my friends list, and I love reading what you have to say.
4. Nope, but maybe someday!

Date: 2003-09-07 02:57 pm (UTC)2- Because you're an interesting and intelligent person and I enjoy your writing style. You seemed like a fine person to get to know better. And besides,
3- Your willingness to open up and share what's on your mind.
4- No, dammit. But to answer the question you posed in your comment to me, soon I hope!
re: the ricotta cheese-try some cinnamon with or without sugar or sweet and low if you're watching calories. It's delicious. Toast with ricotta and cinnamon sugar was one of my favorite breakfasts when I was a kid. But I may be biased; I like ricotta cheese so much I could (and sometimes do) eat it straight from the container.

Date: 2003-09-07 03:08 pm (UTC)2. You added me first and I liked what I saw when I initially looked over your journal for the first time.
3. The fact that you write about both personal & thoughtful things, as well as the small amusements and silly finds.
4. Nope.

Date: 2003-09-07 03:39 pm (UTC)1. Er... Um... Oh hell. Um, I think you found me after you joined Bluebook. Or maybe I found you through
2. Sheer morbid curiosity ;)
J/K
Um, because you seemed like a nice person I suppose. I mean, I don't actually *like* to inflict my existance on anyone :P
3. All of it :)
4. No, but I'm hoping to next May!

Date: 2003-09-07 04:54 pm (UTC)2) I... don't remember. But I dreamt about you last night!
3) You talk about... stuff. Lots of interesting things. And you're interesting people in general.
4) Nope!

Date: 2003-09-07 05:25 pm (UTC)2. Because you're wonderful.
3. When you let me know what's going on in your life.
4. Not yet, but it would be so unfair if it never happened, so it's going to.

Date: 2003-09-08 08:54 am (UTC)2- See above. More specifically, your bio piqued my interest. I believe it is a different version than the one you currently have posted, but nonetheless ... . I thought you might be sympathetic to my own struggles with mental illness, and I was quite impressed to see that you'd recently "come out" as gay and were addressing your learning experiences in this realm head-on in your journal. Plus, you seemed amorphously "cool."
3- Hmm. I'm going to give the dullest answer imaginable and say "Just reading about your day-to-day life." I enjoy connecting with other people, and gaining insight into their existences, so even the mundane stuff grabs my attention. I also like to read about RPG-oriented stuff because that is a "culture" that is very alien to me, and I find it fascinating (if not something I'd feel comfortable taking up myself).
4 - Nope. But I won't rule it out as a future possibility!
