So I'm making Kraft Dinner for lunch. I discover that I had a box left over from before my last shopping trip, so decide to use it. Waste not, want not, and all that, and KD can't really go bad in only a few months.

So I dump the macaroni into the boiling water, and what come floating up to the surface? Larvae. Yes, the Icky Brown Bugs of Doom appear to have made a comeback, although luckily the infestation seems to have confined itself to that one box of KD, as everything else I own is packaged up in plastic.

Blech.

So I flushed the gross little brown things and am now boiling a new pot of water, in the hopes that I will actually get to eat today.

Bleck.

Yeah, I took your advice the first time it happened and got rid of all the stuff in my cupboards, except obviously that one packet of KD which escaped me, and then packaged everything in plastic.

It was just one box of KD, and I haven't seen any sign of them otherwise. I'm thinking this probably a freak incident left over from September. *crosses fingers*

Hm. Well, if I lived there, I'm sure I'd be thrilled too, and would share my riches with the populace.

However, I live in a place where I have less disgusting sources of protein readily to hand, and thus I got rid of the creepy-crawlies. :P
