... but since I'm on hold I decided to update. The lucky bastards in Accounts Receivable have had a day-long system outage, so they're not working. Of course, they'll have a major rush tomorrow, but who cares?

I still hate my clients.

We keep having major rushes of clients all bitching about their bills. When I think that, according to our statistics, only 10% of our clients actually call us, I shudder to think what would happen if more of them decided to call on a regular basis.

Anyone want 200+ or so surly clients to go to a good home with no mobile reception whatsoever?

I have the best job. The clients don't bug me. I bug the clients. ;) Half of them uses the excuse of no mobile reception...

I hope your employment situation changes for the best, and soon. Before you become dangerously insane and start doing harm... :-S
