More whingeing, or, Why Phnee is a Financial Wreck

It is now the 14th of the month, and my landlord has not cashed his rent cheque. Is anyone surprised? Please say "aye" if you are.

*looks around*

[silence]

[cough, cough]

[cricket, cricket]

I didn't think so.


I still don't know what the mystery $250 deduction from my bank account is. I need to break some legs at my bank.

Oh, and in breakng news, Bell Mobility has once again stiffed me on my paycheque by at least a week's worth of working hours. I am seriously pissed off, not to mention that I'm still in the process of sorting out some problems with VISA about a number of charges on my card that were doubled by some mysterious freak that they insist are not double charges.

Aaaargh!


*rails at the heavens* I'm trying to be financially solvent here! Give a girl a break, would you?

What's the story with your rent? As for the various financial institutions, maybe if you threatened to switch to some other company, they'd get their asses in gear. It sounds like it might be a good idea regardless, though.

I am definitely considering switching banks, although this is the first time I've had a problem with CIBC, and they've been great up until now, so if this just an aberration I'll give them the benefit of the doubt.

As for my rent, well, my landlord is a lazy jackass who never cashes his checks on time. Then again, if he tried today, the check would bounce, so I'm kind of glad for that.
