1. As a child, who was your favorite superhero/heroine? Why?
Zorro. Come on: he had a mask, a cape, could outfence an entire army with flair and wit and style, and he had a large, beautiful black horse. He fought for the weak and oppressed, and had a mute servant with whom only he could communicate. He was ubercool. (He also had a cool theme song)
2. What was one thing you always wanted as a child but never got?
A best friend. No matter how hard I tried, no one ever seemed to stay friends with me.
3. What's the furthest from home you've been?
I guess that would be Sardinia. I'd have to take out a map and see if the Yucatan is actually farther in terms of distance, but I'm not sure.
4. What's one thing you've always wanted to learn but haven't yet?
That's a post in and of itself. There are so many. I guess one of them would be to learn to speak Russian.
5. What are your plans for the weekend?
I have no plans. I'll probably see my parents, maybe clean my apartment a bit, molest my cats, do my food shopping (Mother Hubbard's got nothing on me right now: I emptied the last of the cat food this morning).
