mousmeBeen neglecting my peripheral LJ duties of late. Haven't updated my memories in ages.
Should probably do a book review or two as well.
Didn't see Bowling For Columbine, as was felled by food poisoning yesterday. Ick and double ick.
Saw Casablanca for the first time in its entirety, and it has rekindled my (sort of) love affair with Humphrey Bogart. Not in a fangirl kind of way, but damn was he a man's man. ^_-
"Louis, I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship."
"Play it, Sam. Play it for old times' sake!"
*melts in gooey black-and-white puddle on the floor*
I wanted to be like Lauren Bacall when I was younger. (Yes, I know it's Ingrid Bergman in the film, who's really hot, but when I think of Bogey I think of Lauren Bacall) She's truly one of the most spectacular women I've ever seen.
