Having dinner with the Paternal Unit tonight, and I may find myself in the horrendously humiliating position of having to ask him to tide me over at least until next week (*prays for Christmas bonus*).

*sigh*

So much for my mother's stern advice to always keep 3 months' worth of rent in my bank account at all times. It must be nice to live in her world...
