... or something like that.
My esteemed employers have decided that I am *almost* beyond redemption due to my recent tardiness (I was late four times in the last six weeks, which is "inconceivable" as they put it -and yes, I had to bite my tongue not to quote Iniguo Montoya at them), and have therefore suspended me for three days from work.
During this time (they haven't decided on the dates, except to say that they won't be consecutive days) I am supposed to sit at home and "think about whether I really want to stay with Bell Mobility" and generally ponder my sins.
So it looks like I'll have to tighten my belt for a while, although I will be using those days to go to Nautilus and work out and maybe even get some Christmas shopping done. Oh, and I need to renew my drivers' license and my medicare card.
Of course, I need to buy a really good and loud alarm clock, because if I'm late again I think they may skip the five day suspension entirely and fire my ass. I actually rather like my job, in spite of my bitching and moaning. There's lots of opportunity for advancement, and it helps pay the bills. I don't want to be unemployed. :(
*sigh*
