mousmeCats are definitely nocturnal creatures. Today confirmed it for me.
All day they spent curled up within a meter or so of me, complaining if I so much as shifted my weight. They argued briefly over who would get to snuggle closer to Mummy, then went back to sleep.
Now it's 7pm and they're tearing around the apartment like possessed furry hot water bottles, rolling around and hissing and wrestling.
As fearsclave would say, it's like Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom in here.

And they still run around all night too.
