mousmeSo I'm getting the locks replaced on my front door. My apartment may be Fort Knox from the outside, but if the front door has no lock it makes it kind of pointless.
New Stainless-Steel Lifetime Guarantee Sixty-Billion Types of Bolt-and-Screw-and-Security-Mechanism Uberlock is what I'm getting, according to orders from the Maternal Unit.
Bah. More expensive stuff to buy, but if it'll give her peace of mind I'm all for it.
Have the sneaking suspicion that I have to work this Monday, which will cut my weekend despairingly short. At least they'll pay me double time. I'm a bit annoyed that they didn't ask for volunteers first before assigning people, but I guess they changed the procedures without letting people know. Bleh. Bleh, I say!

curtana with all plans for Third Empire before I forget them. The problem with playing every other week is that it makes it easier to forget everything evil you're planning. Tryggvi must be ruined or at least kept inoffensive before he upsets my precious status quo and causes all sorts of unrest at court. May well enlist Quintianus to aid me in this endeavour. I'm sure I have more to offer him than the hick from the sticks.
Erg. Must go work now. Went to bed too late. Must remedy that tonight...
