The day is looking up
Sep. 30th, 2002 04:01 pmWell, every now and then a client just makes your day. Kudos to Geoffrey Woods of Kingston Ontario for being an all-around nice guy to talk to once over the phone.
The call lasted ten minutes, but it was worth it. We giggled about technology, the uselessness of automated voice systems that hang up, and the ever-popular "fatal error" message that pops up on your computer screen for no reason.
I laughed so hard I cried and I'll probably have my ass fired if anyone was listening in on the call.
Still, it's put me in a much better mood, and I've actually been cracking jokes with some of my other clients too, which has made for overall better service. Go me!
In other good news, they're changing the schedules of the department I'm applying to work in, which means *cue trumpets* that even if I have to work weekends in the future, my Sundays will still be free. Hooray!
I'm still tired, though.
Dinner with the Parental Units tonight. Woo! Not my own cooking is always a nice change.
