Wheeeeeeeee!
Am bored.
Had entertaining week since minor meltdown on Monday. Was meant to go to se XXX with Poms on Tuesday, but forgot of course that I had appointment with therapist at 6:15.
Left him long apologetic message, and we agreed to meet at 7:30 instead. I was a few minutes late, so ran like maniac into movie theatre, thinking he was inside and waiting for me.
Didn't find him, so decided to wait until end of movie and find him afterwards when it wasn't dark. Turned out he was waiting elsewhere, so he didn't get to see the movie.
Massive suckage all around.
Movie, OTOH, rocked majorly. Was v. entertaining, totally gamer-oriented, and I'm planning to drag the entire Adventure! group to see it.
Was v. enthused all around. Much blowing up of stuff, and man-made avalanches are kewl.
Tried for different movie yesterday with Poms. Went to his place first, had chicken stir-fry, then headed off to see Signs.
Well, I can't say the movie sucked, 'cause it didn't, but I wasn't thrilled. Mostly it was Mel Gibson looking very grim, and lots of people looking jittery and small-town-ish.
Meh.
I was mostly confused, not too sure whether the plotline *actually* made sense. I think my brain may have melted with the heat.
What was cool about the movie essentially was that for once *this* family didn't save the world. They just survived as best they could. Thought the ending was PDL (Pretty Damned Lame) though.
Oh well.
The lines are dead today. Am just waiting for my break, which is in fifteen minutes.
