Tired. Too much activity, too much heat.

Don't remember where I last left off.

I think it was Tuesday or Monday. *looks in LJ*

Tuesday. I remember now. Was violently ill at work and went home. Lost my lunch and gave co-workers quite the show as I barely had time to reach for the nearest wastebasket. Blarg.

Took taxi home, and was sick in taxi (well, out the window of the taxi). Driver was very nice and stopped at a depanneur to buy me some paper towels and a 7up. He got a *very* generous tip, although I didn't have the presence of mind to take down his car number to phone his boss and tell them what a great driver he was. These things always look good on a resume. Oh well.

Fifteen hours of sleep and my migraine pills did the trick. Oh, and cuddling my cats.

John's wedding was great fun. Had a blast. Joane taught me to swing dance and I made an idiot of myself and had a ball doing it.

Stayed out until two in the morning discussing cats with miseri, the Lich, Joane and her fiancé. The latter turned out to be a veritable font of wisdom concerning feline society, and by the end of the evening he had us all eating out of the palm of his hand.

Ate, drank, danced, ate lots of fruit.

Only low point of evening was that Curtana was feeling crappy. Wish she could have had a better time, and generally sympathise massively.

I think I missed out on updating last week.

Meeting Witch Hazel was also much fun. A) She's a hottie. B) She's clever and very sweet. c) She plays drinking games.

Caught up with Black Buffet, whom I hadn't seen in forever. He's got a job at the Cosmodome, which is great because I know he was suffering from the dread disease Joblessness, and on top of it he gets to shepher kiddies around for a living. It's all good.

Had WoD game on Sunday, where I did unspeakably evil things to RC's main bad guy, the least of which being getting him pissed, then tying him up in his own bedsheets and folding him away in the top bunk of his compartment on the Orient Express. *smug look*

Monday dawned unbearably hot. Molested cats, got more antibiotics spit up on my clothes, then got lift to work from father when I forgot my passkey and was horribly late. Well, I wasn't really, but I wasn't sure of the bus schedule because it was a statutory holiday.

Speaking of which, I am never again working statutory holidays if I can help it. Sure it pays double time, but I can't even bank the time and the government takes it all in taxes anyway, which sucks massively.

Decided to do some much-needed grocery shopping on way home from work, and buy some cat litter since my kitties are in dire need of the stuff. IGA delivers, so I had no qualms about this.

Until I discovered IGA doesn't deliver on statutory holidays.

AAARGH!

So I schlepped the groceries home, bruising both wrists in the process. I then took a wrong turn somewhere and got hopelessly lost, finally lost my patience and took a cab the rest of the way home. Shoulders and arms now *very* sore and stiff.

Firewillow & Fearsclave came over, and we played Maage and had a monster salad. Mage was much fun in spite of Fearsclave's insistence that he wasn't good at GMing. Am intrigued by mysteries involved already. Must begin spamming him to run again.

Gah. Not enough time for all this gaming. Must prevent life from interfering too much with my gaming time. ;)

Even more stifling today. Cats spat more antibiotics at me. Am now at work, and off to lunch in a few.

Tally ho!

I take it that the "How to Give Your Cat a Pill" articles are based on real life experiences, then.

Have you tried the recommendation about putting the pills in a pepper grinder & grinding it onto their fur, so they lick themselves clean?

Actually, their antibiotics are in liquid form, which is why it presents a difficulty. Pills are not a problem for me.

It's just that Pan-Pan has found a way of curling up his tongue and then spitting out the antibiotics without swallowing them. So I have to clamp his jaw shut until he swallows... :P
