Am tired. Wanna go home and molest cats. Instead have to put up with clients molesting my fragile psyche.

Date with Poms tonight. Am looking forward to it. He's been a bit grumpy as he's allergic to cats, but I think he rather likes felines and the whining is mostly due to the fact that he *wants* to pet them and cuddle them and can't because it makes him sick and miserable.

Must figure out way to make cats allergy-proof. ;)

I had same problem with cat allergies for the longest time. Try to find all natural Cayenne pills. Sounds silly, but something in the cayenne counteracts the cat allergy specifically. Proved most useful on several occasions. Am not sure where you would find some however, possibly natural food stores?

You could always start staring hungrily and fixedly at any approaching felines whilst licking your lips. I've found that pretending to want to make a meal of someone's cat tends to make them avoid putting you in their vicinity :)

I was allergic to cats for the longest time... Now it seems I'm not anymore, at least when it comes to short haired cats. This is all much to my chagrin, as now I don't have an excuse to make people keep their damn cats away from me with anymore. >:(

Whoah... got a little carried away there. ANyway don't assume someone doesn't like cats just b/c they're allergic. Maybe they just think cats are SELFISH EVIL LITTLE SNOT-ASSED BASTARDS-- oops. Carried away again... Will stop now. :o

The thing with allergies is that they are so personalized, and vary from person to person and even in a single person at different times. My cat allergies have become *much* worse over the past ten years; before that, while I knew I was mildly allergic, the cats at home never caused me any difficulty. No one medication works for everyone in the same way, and, since there is a psychological element as well, a lot of herbal 'remedies' work due to the placebo effect.

As a general rule, though, the one thing that will work is avoid having thick blankets, carpets, thick upholstery, or such things in your apartment. Wooden chairs are good, though!
