Zombies, friends, and Indiana Jones
Mar. 17th, 2002 09:59 pmLoup's new Resident Evil game rocks. I was super impressed yesterday, although I haven't had time to think about it much since then. My character is freaking out now, poor thing. She's just eighteen, all idealistic, convinced the worst she would ever see was combat with other humans, and now suddenly there's a government conspiracy and zombies! *grin* I'm loving it.
RC's new game looks interesting, although I have reservations about joining any game which involves him. Still, the new Adventure! system is intriguing, and any game in which I get to play a female version of Indiana Jones can't be entirely bad. Besides, Poms will be playing, which is a definite plus. *beam*
Speaking of which, his friend JB has to be the most loyal person I've met in a long time, except maybe Firewillow. He waxed eloquent about what a wonderful, warm and generous person Poms is, and I agreed with him wholeheartedly, of course. Poms is a sweet guy, and the soul of kindness and warmth, something that struck me from the moment we met. Well, maybe the next time we met: the first time I was so nervous about being in the same room with more than one person I didn't know that I couldn't even bring myself to remember their names afterwards. Silly me. :)
Being a board monitor on BUS is harder than I imagined. Suddenly I have to read *all* the posts instead of just the ones I want to, and I have to read them with an eye not only towards empathy on my part, but also with an eye towards the safety of the other posters. Every time I read a post I find myself wondering whether I should put in a spoiler warning, or whether I'm being too paranoid about it. Yeesh. So much responsibility, so little experience. Enh. I figure I'll get used to it eventually.
Gotta go to bed. Work in the morning.
