Things are looking up

So I haven't found my gloves, but I now have a handle on my door again, and the computer seems fine. *knocks on wood* I have backed up some of my more important writing to private entries in secret_history until I can get my hands on a USB key to get it all backed up.

In the midst of the broken-lock saga yesterday, my GP's office called to let me know all my tests came back normal. So, back to the drawing board. I suppose it's good news.

Community Plug

The lovely and talented karine has created an art community! It can be found at april_drawing.

For those of you familiar with august_writing, the concept is the same, except with drawing. For those of you unfamiliar with it, here's the deal: draw something every day in the month of April. Other forms of visual arts are also welcome. The idea is to draw or create something every day, no matter how big or small. If it's a project that will take more than one day, then posting progress reports and/or pictures is encouraged.

In spite of the fact that I can, with difficulty, only produce stick figures, I shall be participating. It sounds like fun. :)
