One hour and a half left to go...

Am off this evening to Miranda's (and Grover's) birthday party, which starts at 8pm. It's 6:30.

Ran around today getting presents and such. Got Grover a bottle of Kimper bubbly wine (good stuff), and then ran around trying to find something suitable for Miranda. Did the whole Angst thing over it (Will she like this? Maybe it's too forward. Maybe it's the wrong colour...)

Ended up at Lush where I got her three bath bombs. I couldn't resist and got the Sex Bomb. :D The other two were Rose Petal and something to do with sparkliness. Hee!

Got her a small piece of rose quartz and a "silver basket" which is really a silver spiral in which you encase small stones so they can then hang about your neck. I hope she likes it. :::quiver:::

I'm torn between hoping that she knows what rose quartz does best (I think she does —she works for people who run a New Age store), and being terrified that she knows. I don't even know if she's interested, but I won't know until I ask, right?

Everything is wrapped in blue paper (royal blue wrapping paper, light blue tissue paper) and blue ribbons and some red and orange and yellow ribbons. It looks nice, for once. I suck at wrapping presents, and with my cats ever-ready to lend a helping —paw?— my presents always come out looking a tad lopsided and generally as though the wrapping was in the wrong end of a fight with a thresher. :P

Nonetheless, I was able —thanks to the liberal use of scotch tape— to keep things under control and looking tidy. I can also curl a ribbon with the best of them, so everything looks festive.

Okay. Am off to go do something productive while I wait. :)
