The polls show alarming results... or not

I have made another poll, just because I could, and because the topic actually interests me a good deal. Especially since for some reason of late I've made a lot of friends who have very different ideas about sexuality than the ones I grew up with, and because this has opened all sorts of doors for me to start learning more about all this.

Yes, yes. Get all your "shy, retiring virgin" jokes out of the way, then answer the poll. Only I can see the results if'n you're shy about this kind of stuff. Lord knows I don't do well talking about it face to face. ;)

Then, once you've answered the poll, I'd be much obliged if you could answer the non-poll question, either in comments or by email if you don't want to post it publicly but feel like answering anyway. :)

Castles in Spain

One of my favourite things to do in the world is plan stuff. Not actually do it, because my plans are always for "in a year," or "when I grow up," or "when I have money." But it's still fun.

It's building castles in Spain, as the saying goes. Don't remember where it comes from. I realise I haven't built that many castles in this LiveJournal, mostly because some part of me is really afraid of being laughed at or being told that my dreams are unreasonable or silly, or being told to quit thinking about a nonexistent future and concentrate on the present.

Building castles in Spain is my favourite way of not thinking about my problems.

I've decided to throw caution to the winds and build some castles today, in–between reading applications for aparecium_rpg. While I'm at it: WOULD SOMEONE PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT'S GOOD AND HOLY APPLY FOR HARRY POTTER?!?!?!?

Because I obviously haven't posted enough today

Now that there's a posting limit, I feel almost morally obligated to post a few times a day. Or at least, when I have the opportunity and nothing else to do (except clean my apartment which I don't feel like doing for reasons explained earlier today).

So here I am again, posting about whatever the hell decides to go through my mind. It's kind of fun, especially as people don't seem to be updating their LiveJournals today, or at least not right now, which means I can't entertain myself by reading my friends page. Where's kimberly_a when you need her? She posted earlier this morning, but I miss her evening ramble and the huge number of comments it tends to generate.

I should probably go to bed and not post, especially seeing as I've forgotten what I wanted to write about. No matter. I'll go to bed later. I slept until almost 1:30 this afternoon, although I need to get on a more regular sleep cycle if I want to survive work. At least next week I'll be on vacation.

Let it not be said that I never asked

Okay, so I need stuff to occupy me when I'm not at work and generally too apathetic to do anything else but poke at my LiveJournal. With this in mind, I have prepared these questions so that a) I can find more interesting stuff to read; b) I can continue customising the look of my LJ; c) I can work at making my LJ more interesting for you, my faithful readers. :)
