Why me? I mean, only in my life could my bathtub choose to leak and be stopped up at the same time.

If I'd gotten up an hour later the apartment below me would be flooded, so it's a good thing I get up early. It also means that I'm stuck at home all day and jeopardising my job not to mention that I have to find somewhere to put my car during the hours I'm not allowed to park on my street.

So far I've applied a band-aid solution of Drano and something to catch the water while the Drano does what it's supposed to do. Aaaugh! I'm a Customer Service Rep, not a plumber!

Man am I relieved. Not only that, but now it means I have a pretty good excuse to take the rest of the day off! Woohoo! 'Cause of course if I can get my hands on a plumber it would be a plus so that he (or she, I assume there's such a thing as a female plumber although I've never met one) can actually replace the washer in the tap (that's what's causing the leak) and maybe unplug the bathtub more professionally than me with a bottle of Drano.

Actually, I confess that I was very surprised to learn that sraphim was only just starting high school. She's demonstrated so much maturity here that I assumed she was older until I read her user info and journal. That's a compliment, btw. ;)

I'm messing around with my background image and hoping that this new on will be less jarring than the other one.

This one still has some pretty hard edges, but it flows a little better than the previous one...
