So... tired...

Got up at ungodly hour today so the locksmith could do his thing at my door. I now have a lifetime guaranteed uberlock o' death securing my little apartment. Ironic, 'cause there ain't much to steal in there.

So the locksmith made eyes at me the entire time, which was fine (I don't care and he was like three feet tall which didn't help his cause any) and I made breakfast for my mother who was trying to make friends with the cats. I must point out that they haven't liked her since she locked them in the bathroom on her last visit (when the carpenter came, because she was afraid they'd run out the open door).

Yes, my family is weird, but they're pretty cool by most standards.

We had a minor clash when she decided that I couldn't possibly go to work dressed as I was (oy), but I squelched that with a: "For Heaven's sake, would you let me wear the clothes I want to?" and a friendly smile accompanied by more coffee. She got the point.

*sigh*

Looking back at the entries of this LJ, I've decided that I'm probably one of the most boring people I've ever met. ^_-

In the interests of not boring any of my readers/friends/stalkers/other hangers-on, I'm going to attempt a leetle bit of variety in here, which will likely be greatly aided when I finally get my new computer (I'm waiting for it to arrive at the store).

Oooh, I know! I'll make a poll! See, I have several ideas I could implement, but I'd like to make sure I'm not royally irking people with my newfound passion for variety.

I'll come back and put the poll in this post as soon as I rediscover how to make one. *wanders off*
