I want to have something disgustingly unhealthy today. Sadly, the cafeteria is closed during my lunch break, so it'll have to be snack food.

The problem with the cafeteria is, that the only food I can take out and eat during my break (ie, keep it in the communal fridge) is salad, and the only decent salad they have is the green kind. Iceberg lettuce and if I'm lucky cucumbers and tomatoes. I'm all for that, except I've been eating that for lunch for five weeks straight and I'm really fed up now.

Chips and a chocolate bar it is! Wheeee!

I'm so gonna regret this later when I'm bouncing off the walls...

Capricorn Employee Profile
Back to Employment Humour

A Capricorn employee with too much to do is a happy worker.

They need plenty of projects and responsibility. There is no sadder sight than a Capricorn worker without a sense of responsibility. They need to be needed. They are covertly ambitious - usually not flashy or obvious about it-but you will usually know that they are serious and determined about advancing themselves.

They are completely scrupulous, so much so that they can be self-disparaging. But they are no pushovers. They can wear down even the toughest customers. Their persistence is incredible. Once they set their sights on a goal, they work away at it until the bitter end-whether the goal be that hard sell or the new hardware release.

Capricorns don't work for free, however. They expect to be paid handsomely and be given more and more responsibility. They need to come out ahead of the pack in the end, and they see the work environment as their primary vehicle.

They won't go in for the typical office gossip and politics, though.

They want to get down to business at work and see it as no place for fooling around.

With a strong sense of duty and respect towards their superiors, it is rare they will join in on boss-bashing or knocking the system.

They can get frustrated, however, with blue sky management schemes that lack common sense, and they will interject their dry sense of humor in the most critical ways.

If they want change, they will be unyielding. If all their effort leads to naught the result will be deep moods of darkness and depression with a sense of hopelessness.

Keep your Capricorn employee happy by paying them fairly and giving them plenty of hard work. Arrange for a path of advancement within your organization for them. If you don't, you might find them looking for other opportunities.

'Cause you're gonna see my heart breaking
Don't turn around
I don't want you seeing me cry...

People shouldn't be allowed to have children. At least not without intensive screening and training before.

God, those posts on BUS break my heart every time. I just want to take the kids into my arms and cradle them and sing them to sleep and tell them that it's not true that their parents are sad abusive excuses for human beings, but all I can do is offer empty words of comfort across the faceless internet.

...

I said in my other post I wanted to move back with my mom because livingg with my dad sucks because he doesn't even pretend to like me, and it's just miserable...
So I called my mom at work (She's in California) And I got put on hold for about half an hour because hs e was in a meeting... Or she just didn't want to talk to me...
Basically, I asked her, she said no. She doesn't want me back, she didn't even give a reason, she didn't even apologize she just said "No Skye, I don't think so." and then she hung up...

So I'm stuck here and I basically told me dad Yester he could go fuck himself for all I cared because I tried to reason some things with him and they didn't work...

I hate feeling like this, I mean, aren't your parents suppos e to care? I mean on the list of requirements to be a parent love must be pretty high up there...

Or I'm just such a screw up they both hate me.... It hurts... I've tried to fool myself into thinking I didn't care if they loved me anymroe, but I do. and knowing the truth really really hurts.

sorry...
