I am in a royally crappy mood. Woke up late, still feel tired and drained and horrible.

I need to start going to bed earlier.

Stupid emotional twit. Been on the verge of tears since I got up, and I don't even know why.

Got people coming tonight, gotta clean up the place and finish preparing.

Don't even feel like moving, never mind cleaning up.

I'm tired. :P

And whiny. :P

And bitchy. :P

Bleh.

I think I'll repost all those links on self–injury, just for general edification, and in case people who are reading my LJ now weren't around when I last posted them.

Links to websites and stuff on self–injury:

This is Deb Martinson's Secret Shame website, and by far the best on the web that I've ever encountered:

Secret Shame

Go here for more specific info if you don't actually self–injure but need a few tips on how not to be completely freaked by the fact that one of your friends/family is a self–injurer.

This is another good resource, but not as thorough and complete. Has some twisted humour in there too, which is a nice change.

The Bodies Under Siege Web Board is a good interactive place to get questions answered and support when you need it. It has a good families and friends section monitored by a very friendly, down–to–earth woman whose daughter is an SIer.

I also happen to be a moderator on the main board since March or thereabouts.

This is the more specific web board for families and friends: yet another link .

I think that's enough for now.

Questions/comments/issues/whatever, can be sent to me via email, and I'll answer them as best I can. Or in the comments section, if you think many people could benefit from the answers.

Marshalling skills sadly very rusty.

Much evilness was lost as I floundered for my accents and tried to concentrate on my plot. Oh well. I'm sure it'll come back eventually.

My friend AC called and left a message yesterday, and I called and left a message on his regular phone —his cell kept ringing busy. I hope we manage to see each other this weekend before he heads back to TO. It would suck if I missed him.

Stone and Faith together are a riot. Was much fun watching Stone twitch every time someone called him "Father" or "Padre."

Have to send detailed list of NPCs to players and whatnot. Start up a file for them on Serendipity so they can keep track of stuff. Oh, and make layout of their boarding house. Have to learn to use Photoshop for that. Will bring book with me to work and start on it.

Oh man, it's late. I can't believe I'm still up...

Have so many things to prepare for next session: dinner with Montalban, figuring out which girls Linda will choose to help out with the house... oy.

Was fun watching Faith and Stone slowly come to the realisation that they couldn't shoot people or burn down buildings. Heh. Stone having a harder time than Faith... he's had more time to become antisocial.

Have to go to work tomorrow. Not looking forward to it. In one month, hopefully, I will get a schedule with my weekends free. Working weekends has only two advantages: 1) I get to have lunch with Firewillow at least once a week; 2) Weekends tend to be more relaxed at work.

However, the rest of my friends have their weekends off, which means I have to be a boring stick in the mud during that time. It also means that going to weddings and such is a lot more complicated than it should be.

So, am hoping for a schedule with no weekends.

May in fact take a lighter schedule during summer so I can actually have a life, although having less money will mean living cheaply for a while.

Am moving into new apartment on June 3rd. Am enthused. Parents will likely freak out, but they have relatively little say in the matter. :)

All in all, my day improved significantly from this morning.
