Didn't have the chance to update on Tuesday. Busy busy busy, and no computer at home. *quiet wail of desperation*

Anyway, things going well.

Ballistic: Ecks vs Sever sucked like a Hoover. Blew bigger chunks than Mt. Etna. It basically consisted of seven or eight good/decent spy movie plotlines re-hashed, cut, chopped, diced and glued together with library paste in no particular order.

Oh, and Antonio Banderas, while still stunningly gorgeous, should not be allowed to do modern action movies. He wasn't allowed to smoulder enough, which took away from the movie.

Was fun seeing Poms and FP though.

Carpenter meant to fix my door didn't show up yesterday. When I called him he mumbled something about being on another job and not finding the right materials but he would definitely call me back later that day. Whatever. Got a call from the Maternal Unit this morning and apparently he's coming today. Whoop-dee-freaking-doo.

Did Major Plotting(tm) for D&D game, then wandered over for lunch with [livejournal.com profile] firewillow & Evil Overlord Bunny. Was much fun, and we did more plotting and there was much mocking of Bunny and his inability to go to lunch more than a block away from work lest his brain shut down leaving him unable to be productive for the rest of the afternoon.

We went to Bambou Doré, ogled the dynamiting, made fun of the programmers and the silly people at FW's office.

Afterwards, and after a brief detour by the Faubourg to buy stick candy and rockets, I wandered over to the Gamers' Guild to see [livejournal.com profile] blackbuffet during his office hours, but it turned out he was elsewhere actually working. I was most nonplussed, but I must grudgingly approve of the desire to do homework.

Met up with Greg and two new girls who are into anime (and my God were they dumb!), and [livejournal.com profile] joane made an appearance a while later.

I escaped with her to the cafeteria, where we had a very pleasant chat, even though she was having a really hard day due to pill changes inducing icky mood swings and depression. Been there, done that, and it is so not fun. Hope she felt better after [livejournal.com profile] gats's game.

[livejournal.com profile] curtana's game went really well, except that poor firewillow didn't get much screen time, mostly because she kept trying to hide out in the kitchens. I'm a lot more familiar with the NPCs now, and made a good effort at interacting with the other PCs (damn you, forthright, for kindling my hopes and then screwing with them!)

Adoracion is well on her way to getting herself an heir and getting rid of the competition. With any luck, Rumetrude will give Nithard a fatal form of the clap and I'll have one less stepchild to deal with. Then I have to figure out whether Recared is gay, and if not make him my lover (Sirivuld is obviously a little old to be fathering children), and marry off Bertilla to Hugo.

Involving Quintillianus in Project Nantechild is probably a good idea. She needs a man to make her feel special and attractive, and despite the fact that he's an albino he might be able to pull it off with her. She's young and impressionable, in any case.

In other news, MAGE ON FRIDAY! WOOHOO! *plots some more*
