Quiet days like this just seem to slip by under the radar. You just lie on your bed and cuddle your cats, stroking them from the glistening tips of their noses to the glossy ends of their tails, smiling slightly to yourself as the rumble of their purring reaches your ears.
Days like this are just grey and sleepy, and all you want to do is curl up in your living room and watch the humidity settle outside on the leaves of the lilac trees and listen to the drone of the bluebottles thumping against the windowpanes...
On a more random note, I'm finally getting a phone line tomorrow.
