mousmeLines were super busy today, but now it's calming down.
Let's see...
Saturday:
Epic expedition to IKEA with Parental Units. Each got more impatient than the other, and it got messy as usual. They were reconciled by the end of the day, though.
Took cats to vet. Both have colds and need antibiotics. Have been engaging in epic struggle every morning to get them to swallow the orange-pineapple flavoured goop too, which they don't appreciate.
Started setting up new table with Firewillow. Turns out we were doing it backwards but I didn't find that out until yesterday.
Bunny and Pebbles came over after bearing pizza, and much fuss was made over the cats, who in turn made complete sluts of themselves.
They clambered all over Bunny, especially Pan-Pan, who imperiously ignored any attempt poor Bunny made to read his book and sat in his lap, sprawled happily over the pages of the book.
Pebbles had a good deal of fun teasing George with various implements of kitten-teasage, and we even convinced her to begin chargen for an eventual character in the game. She eventually passed out on my bed with Pan-Pan, and I took a great picture of the two of them.
Game was fun, much better than first session. Am getting Marshalling skills back, slowly but surely.
Sunday:
D&D cancelled due to RC being sick.
Spent day with Poms instead. Saw Attack of the Clones, which pretty much sucked, though not as badly as Phantom Menace. Was highly amused when it dawned on me that the Evil Empire essentially was allowed to dominate the world and it was all the fault of JarJar Binks.
Yoda turning into a little green ball of whupass was pretty nifty too.
Anakin was whiny, and it's my opinion that 3/4 of those "love" scenes could have been cut without any damage to the movie. Agree with Curtana on that score.
Tried to get Bell line hooked up, but stupid lack of credit history forcing me to pay $200 deposit. Piss. Am annoyed, but not terminally so. Can't get internet at home either. :P
