Sometimes this job just sucks...
Jun. 16th, 2002 04:26 pmNothing in particular happening, but I wanna go home and there are still 33 minutes left to go. Piss.
No calls, thankfully. Was super busy for first three hours, seems quieter now. Stupid rainy Sundays when clients have nothing better to do than call up and bug customer service with stupid questions.
Honestly, I don't know how these people remember to breathe by themselves.
Going home soon. Parental Units called, suspect they left a message on voice mail. They still haven't grasped the concept that I *can't* answer my cell phone when I'm at work, as I work with another phone strapped to my head.
Resident Evil rocked. Am a bit confused about experience points, but nothing major. Think I'm going to re-tool character a bit so I'm not stuck sitting on my thumbs like this session. Certainly won't hurt as my character seems limited to earning XP only when she kills stuff, which she didn't get to do much last night. Mechanics'll help with that, I think.
There was talk of RE next Sunday, but I realised this morning that I'm already booked then for WoD. Will have to advise Firewillow if she doesn't read this. (^_-)
I think Poms likes the Feline Units. He said they were disgustingly cute, and both of them fawned over him as though he were their long-lost brother. It was nauseatingly adorable.
Both have now firmly laid claim to my bed. I am the secondary occupant at best. Spent a good hour this morning with Pan-Pan on my stomach, purring like a lawnmower. Georgie actually purrs louder than he does, surprisingly enough. They both drool when you pet them long enough. It's really very amusing. Then they follow me around like lost souls and mew piteously until I pick them up.
Sneaky bastards. They've figured out that I'm a soft-hearted sop and they're taking advantage of me. Not that I mind. Heh. :)
*looks at clock*
Fifteen minutes! Woohoo!
I think Parental Units want to have dinner. I don't mind. It's Father's Day, after all.
Have to remember to go to lost and found and see if someone brought back my debit card. It got "misplaced" on Friday, but I only discovered the loss Saturday morning, conveniently enough, when I was having breakfast with AC, my friend who now lives in Toronto where he's the epitome of the yuppie lawyer. He misses Montreal, though. We had a really good time. :)
Thoughts are all over the place today...
