I've been a little remiss about posting daily, so I've decided to follow the example of a few of my LJ friends and do a sort of meme. For each day of next month, I will let one of you fine folk pick the topic of a post for each day. So in the comments you pick a date and tell me what you'd like me to write about on that day. I will update the list as required.

If days are left blank, well, I shall just have to make something up. Since I don't have crazy numbers of people on my flist, feel free to pick more than one date. :)

I'm using Wikipedia for inspiration. How about...

  • June 1st: Classic film (Marilyn Monroe was born June 1st 1926).

  • June 13th (opening night, 2014!): The Little Prince. Original, or as told by our favourite treacherous Renaissance political scientist. ^_^

  • June 28th: World War I (As you know, it's the centennial of the assassination of the Archduke Franz Ferdinand and his wife Sophie Chotek, which was the spark that set it off.)

  • June 30th: Trains. (On June 30th 1886, the first trans-Canada train left Montreal for Port Moody.)

More to come, if others don't get there first! -_^

Oh, darnit. Don't tell me it was lost?

Anyway, the topics were:

June 1st: Classic film (it's Marilyn Monroe's birthday)
June 13th: The Little Prince, as told by St-Exupery, or everybody's favourite Renaissance political scientist, or both (it's opening night! AaaaAAAhhhHhhHHH!)
June 28th: World War One (It's the centennial of the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand and his wife Sophie Chotek, which is what set it off)
June 30th: Trains (In 1886, the first trans-Canada train set off from Montreal for Port Moody BC).

I'll leave the other dates to everyone else... for now!

Hi!

It wasn't lost, I just have all anonymous comments set to be screened and I hadn't got around to unscreening it yet, as I just saw your comment. I guessed it was you, from the content. ;)

I'm planning to do a writing meme in June, to try to get back into the writing habit again...

So, on June 2nd, can you talk about what makes a good antagonist in your opinion? What kind of "bad guys" do you love to hate?

On June 10th... can you talk about fantasy books that you'd really enjoyed? What did you like about them? What about their world building did you enjoy the most?

Let's see ---

June 7, and this one is really personal, so if you'd prefer not to, I understand, but I'd like to hear about your journey to coming out. Was it difficult? Scary? I'm asking because of LaSpawn, who is still dealing with it.

June 20th -- bicycles. Do you like riding them? Do you have one?

June 22nd -- Quinoa -- tasty grain or overrated fad?

No, I don't mind in the slightest. Bear in mind my experience is not the norm, though.

I think you can and should be published. So. Is that something you're working toward, and if so, in what ways? And if not, why not?

Charles actually beat you to those two dates (though he accidentally posted in the wrong post, so I'm tempted to give him the 25th and 26th instead).
